Role Description The Sales Team Manager at VIRA is a full-time, on-site role based in India. This role oversees the daily performance of the sales team, including setting sales targets, monitoring progress, and providing coaching to achieve revenue goals. The Sales Team Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, conducting regular team meetings, and coordinating with other departments to support business growth. Day-to-day tasks include mentoring team members, handling escalated customer inquiries, reviewing sales data, and ensuring a high standard of customer service. The role also involves training new hires, refining sales processes, and maintaining clear communication with leadership on market trends and team performance.
Qualifications
Strong team management and leadership skills, with experience guiding and motivating sales teams.
Excellent communication abilities for internal collaboration and client interactions.
Customer service and relationship-building skills to ensure a positive client experience.
Training and coaching capabilities to onboard, develop, and upskill team members.
Proven sales skills, including pipeline management, negotiation, and closing deals.
Experience in tech or SaaS-based solutions, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant sector.
Ability to analyze sales metrics, use CRM tools, and make data-driven decisions.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and adapting to changing priorities.
