The Sales Team Leader Nordics is responsible for leading and developing the Nordic sales team to deliver sustainable, profitable growth, strengthen customer relationships, and successfully execute Jacobi’s commercial strategy and budget across the region.
The role combines people leadership with direct commercial responsibility for an assigned market area, including managing key customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and contributing to regional sales targets and the Mid-Term Plan.
Working closely with customers and key internal and external stakeholders, the Sales Team Leader drives commercial excellence and effective ways of working across the Nordic organization. The role ensures consistent adoption of agreed processes and best practices and supports the successful implementation of new tools, systems, and commercial initiatives.
Job Roles / Duties:
Sales Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, and develop the Nordic sales team to achieve individual, team, and regional objectives.
Foster a collaborative, customer-focused, and high-performing culture built on trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Set clear expectations and support employee development through regular coaching, feedback, and performance discussions.
Promote knowledge sharing, cross-market collaboration, and consistent adoption of commercial best practices.
Support the team in prioritizing opportunities, resolving challenges, and improving commercial effectiveness.
Commercial Growth & Customer Management
Drive sustainable and profitable sales growth across the Nordic region in line with the commercial strategy, budget, and Mid-Term Plan.
Take direct commercial responsibility for an assigned market area, including customer relationships, sales development, and achievement of agreed targets.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding and strengthening existing customer relationships.
Ensure a customer-centric approach, translating customer needs and market opportunities into effective commercial actions.
Contribute to the execution of Nordic and EMEA commercial strategies and initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with Business Development to identify market trends, growth opportunities, and strategic commercial initiatives.
Partner with MFU on market development, customer projects, and the successful implementation of new business opportunities.
Work across functions to align customer requirements, product and service offerings, operational capabilities, and business priorities.
Act as a key link between customers and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication, effective decision-making, and successful execution.
Maintain a strong partnership with PowderTrans to support effective warehousing, logistics, and customer service across the Nordic region.
Develop and manage distributor relationships in line with company objectives and market strategies.
Facilitate effective collaboration between distributors, customers, PowderTrans, and relevant internal teams.
Operational Excellence & Change Management
Support the successful implementation of new commercial tools, systems, processes, and initiatives across the Nordic sales organization.
Lead and encourage adoption of agreed ways of working, providing guidance and support to the team during periods of change.
Ensure consistent and effective use of commercial processes, systems, tools, and best practices.
Promote continuous improvement, digital adoption, and operational excellence within the sales organization.
Support organizational change through visible, positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented leadership.
Forecasting, Budgeting & Business Planning
Provide high-quality market, customer, and sales insights to support forecasting and demand planning.
Participate in Nordic budgeting, business planning, and Mid-Term Plan activities.
Monitor sales performance against agreed targets, identify gaps and opportunities, and initiate appropriate actions.
Contribute to the achievement of regional sales, profitability, and strategic objectives.
Support effective sales pipeline and opportunity management to improve visibility and predictability of future business.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
Equivalent relevant commercial experience may be considered.
5–7+ years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial leadership.
Proven track record of developing customer relationships and achieving commercial objectives.
Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring teams.
Experience in industrial products, filtration, activated carbon, or related sectors is an advantage.
Strong commercial and customer-focused mindset.
Strong leadership, coaching, and people-development capabilities.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across functions, teams, and cultures.
Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead change and drive adoption of new tools and ways of working.
Fluent in English and Swedish language.
