Role Description The Executive Vice President is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing strategic direction, operational performance, and business growth across Biomexia’s biotechnology services and product lines. In this role, the EVP will set and execute long-term strategies, align research priorities with market needs, and ensure that projects meet quality, regulatory, and financial objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading senior leadership teams, driving cross-functional collaboration between research, operations, and commercial groups, and monitoring key performance indicators to support informed decision-making. The EVP will manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, partners, and investors, and guide organizational development, talent planning, and resource allocation. This role also involves identifying new market opportunities, championing innovation, and promoting a culture of ethical research, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Demonstrated senior leadership experience in biotechnology, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or related scientific industries, with a track record of strategic planning and execution.
Strong capabilities in business development, market analysis, and growth strategy, including identifying opportunities and building long-term client and partner relationships.
Experience overseeing research or analytical operations, with familiarity in R&D processes, quality management, and regulatory or compliance frameworks.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and remote teams.
Proven ability in organizational leadership, change management, and talent development, fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.
Comfort with data-driven decision-making, financial oversight, budgeting, and performance measurement at an executive level.
Advanced degree in life sciences, biotechnology, healthcare management, business administration, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, demonstrating self-management, accountability, and digital collaboration skills.
