About the Company
One of our client a travel company specializing in exceptional luxury leisure experiences for discerning travelers.
Designs highly personalized vacations, international itineraries, premium air travel, luxury hotels, cruises, and curated experiences. We are looking for a Senior Luxury Leisure Travel Advisor who can independently consult with clients, sell high-end travel, and manage complex itineraries from initial consultation through completion.
This is a highly experienced role. We are looking for someone who already has strong knowledge of Sabre, airline products, U.S. geography, international air travel, and luxury travel sales and can operate independently without extensive training.
About the Role
As a Senior Luxury Leisure Travel Advisor, you will work directly with high-value clients to design and sell customized leisure travel experiences around the world.
A major focus of this position is air travel expertise.
The ideal candidate combines strong travel knowledge with proven consultative sales ability and, preferably, an established book of business or recurring client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Consult directly with luxury leisure clients to understand their travel goals, preferences, expectations, and budget.
Design and sell customized domestic and international leisure itineraries.
Use Sabre at an advanced level to research, construct, book, and manage complex air itineraries.
Select appropriate airlines, routes, connections, aircraft, and premium cabin products based on client preferences.
Recommend and arrange business-class and other premium air travel options.
Apply strong knowledge of U.S. geography, major airports, airline hubs, and IATA airport codes when building itineraries.
Evaluate layover cities, connection times, routing options, and aircraft configurations to create efficient and high-quality travel experiences.
Book and coordinate luxury hotels, resorts, cruises, transfers, tours, activities, and travel insurance.
Manage complex multi-city and international itineraries with a high degree of accuracy.
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on destinations, airlines, accommodations, and premium travel products.
Sell travel through a consultative approach, understanding client needs and recommending appropriate products and experiences.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with luxury travel clients and suppliers.
Manage itinerary changes, cancellations, disruptions, and urgent client requests professionally and efficiently.
Communicate with clients through phone, email, and virtual meetings.
Maintain detailed and accurate client and reservation information.
Stay current on airline products, aircraft configurations, premium cabins, destinations, hotel offerings, and luxury travel trends.
What We Are Looking For
Required Experience
5+ years of professional experience as a Luxury Leisure Travel Advisor, Travel Consultant, or similar client-facing travel professional.
Strong, hands-on Sabre experience is required.
Advanced knowledge of air travel booking and itinerary construction.
Strong knowledge of major U.S. cities, airports, airline hubs, and IATA airport codes.
Strong understanding of major airline brands, routes, aircraft, and premium cabin products.
Experience selecting business-class products based on aircraft, seat configuration, routing, and client preferences.
Experience building complex domestic and international flight itineraries.
Proven experience selling leisure travel, not only providing customer service or travel support.
Experience working with luxury or premium leisure travelers.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Airline and air itinerary knowledge is a core requirement of this position.
Conducting travel consultations with clients
Understanding client preferences and travel motivations
Recommending appropriate travel products
Presenting and explaining travel options
Closing travel sales
Developing repeat and referral business
Maintaining long-term client relationships
An established book of business or recurring luxury leisure client base is strongly preferred.
Cruise experience is a plus.
