Executive Vice President

Role Description The Executive Vice President is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, growth, and operational performance of ZAB SHIPPING’s global logistics and freight forwarding services. This role leads senior management teams, drives business development initiatives, and ensures that service delivery aligns with organizational goals and client expectations. Daily responsibilities include setting and monitoring KPIs, managing budgets and P&L, approving major contracts, and optimizing processes across freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, and transportation functions. The Executive Vice President collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, strengthens key partnerships, and promotes a culture of accountability, innovation, and regulatory compliance. The role also involves risk management, market analysis, and continuous improvement to enhance competitiveness and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Extensive executive leadership experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management, with a track record of managing multi-functional teams and complex operations.
Strong strategic planning, business development, and commercial acumen, including experience with P&L ownership, budgeting, and revenue growth initiatives.
Deep understanding of international trade, transportation modes (air, sea, land), customs regulations, and warehousing practices, preferably within the GCC and broader global markets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams in a remote environment.
Proven capability in change management, process optimization, and implementing performance metrics to improve efficiency and service quality.
High level of analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in using data and market insights to guide decisions and manage operational risks.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
Comfort with digital tools and platforms used in logistics and remote collaboration, and willingness to work across time zones as needed.
