Role Description The Logistics Manager will oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including planning and coordinating the movement of dairy products from production to storage and distribution points. Responsibilities include managing transportation schedules, optimizing delivery routes, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment. The role involves working closely with procurement, production, and customer service teams to maintain an efficient supply chain and address any issues that affect delivery performance. The Logistics Manager will also track key operational metrics, implement process improvements, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Moga.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management skills to oversee end-to-end product flow.
Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills to monitor stock levels and coordinate storage and replenishment.
Candidates should possess Procurement skills to support sourcing of materials and coordination with suppliers.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to manage delivery-related inquiries and maintain positive relationships with distributors and clients.
Relevant experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain, preferably in the food or dairy industry.
Ability to analyze data, use basic logistics or ERP software, and make decisions based on operational metrics.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate teams.
Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
