Role Description The Protection Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cuddalore, responsible for maintaining a secure and safe environment for clients, staff, and property. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring premises, controlling access points, conducting regular security checks, and responding promptly to incidents or emergencies in accordance with company protocols. The role involves coordinating with local authorities when necessary, documenting events and reports accurately, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety and security regulations. The Protection Officer also supports training and awareness initiatives to help colleagues follow security procedures and best practices, while maintaining a professional and approachable presence on-site.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in physical security and general security operations to safeguard people and property.
Candidates should possess skills related to law enforcement and police coordination to handle incidents and regulatory requirements effectively.
Candidates should possess skills in training and security awareness to guide and educate team members on proper protocols.
Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting and interacting with clients, colleagues, and authorities.
Prior experience in security, protection services, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work in shifts, stand or patrol for extended periods, and meet physical fitness requirements relevant to the role.
Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards in Cuddalore and surrounding areas is an advantage.
