Role Description The VP of Brand Development is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for shaping and advancing the brand strategy for The Event Bureau and its associated brands. This role leads the development and refinement of brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and client touchpoints. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing customer insights, defining target audiences, overseeing integrated marketing campaigns, and guiding brand narratives for key initiatives and client projects. The VP partners with senior leadership to set strategic priorities, develops long-term brand roadmaps, and manages cross-functional collaboration with events, sales, and production teams. This position also mentors team members, monitors brand performance metrics, and continuously identifies opportunities to strengthen market presence and differentiate the firm in a competitive landscape.
Qualifications
Strong customer insight and audience analysis skills, with the ability to translate findings into actionable brand strategies.
Demonstrated expertise in marketing and brand development, including campaign planning and execution across digital and traditional channels.
Experience in strategic planning and brand management, with a track record of building and sustaining brand equity.
Leadership capabilities, including team management, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder communication.
Background in event marketing, creative services, or related industries is highly beneficial.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and storytelling abilities.
Proficiency with marketing analytics tools and comfort interpreting brand and campaign performance data.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is an asset.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
