Role Description The In Room Dining Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the in-room dining operation, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality service delivery to guests. This full-time, on-site role based in Agra includes managing daily order flow, coordinating with culinary and service teams, and maintaining standards for food presentation, hygiene, and guest interaction. The role involves supervising and scheduling team members, training staff on service procedures, monitoring performance, and addressing guest feedback or service recovery needs. The In Room Dining Manager will collaborate closely with other Food & Beverage outlets to optimize room service menus, support promotional initiatives, and ensure revenue targets and cost controls are met. Regular duties include inventory management, compliance with safety and brand standards, and active participation in departmental meetings and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
Experience in food and beverage operations, ideally in room service or in-room dining management within a luxury or upscale hotel environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills, including staff supervision, scheduling, training, and performance coaching.
Excellent customer service and guest relations abilities, with a focus on personalized service, conflict resolution, and service recovery.
Solid operational and organizational skills, including order coordination, time management, attention to detail, and quality control.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and health and safety regulations relevant to hotel F&B operations.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in spoken and written English; additional local language skills are an advantage.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a fast-paced on-site environment.
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
Previous experience with POS systems, basic reporting, and cost control practices is beneficial.
