Role Description This is a full-time, on-site English Teacher role based in Kallakurichi. The English Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in English. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of student progress. The teacher will also design classroom activities, support students with varying learning needs, and participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events. The role involves collaborating with colleagues, communicating with parents or guardians when needed, and contributing to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications
Proficiency in English Teaching and Teaching, with the ability to instruct students at different levels effectively.
Strong Lesson Planning skills and experience in Education, including creating structured, curriculum-aligned lessons.
Excellent Communication skills for interacting with students, colleagues, and families in a clear and professional manner.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; teaching certification or relevant training is an advantage.
Experience working in a classroom or school setting, preferably teaching English to school-age learners.
Ability to manage classrooms, adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles, and use basic educational technology.
