Role Description The Speech Therapy Assistant will support licensed speech-language professionals in delivering therapy to children in an on-site setting in the Pune Division. This full-time role involves preparing therapy materials, assisting with individual and group sessions, and implementing treatment plans under supervision. Day-to-day tasks include engaging children in structured activities, documenting session notes, tracking progress, and communicating observations to supervising therapists and caregivers. The Speech Therapy Assistant will help maintain a child-friendly environment, collaborate with educators and other team members, and participate in meetings or training sessions as needed.
Qualifications
Foundational skills in Speech Therapy and Speech, with the ability to support treatment plans under professional supervision.
Strong Communication abilities to interact effectively with children, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Background or interest in Education, with experience or comfort working in child-centered learning or therapeutic environments.
Demonstrated aptitude for Working With Children, including patience, empathy, and behavior management skills.
Relevant certification or diploma as a Speech Therapy Assistant or related field preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology, special education, psychology, or a related discipline is an advantage.
Ability to follow clinical guidelines, maintain clear documentation, and uphold confidentiality and ethical standards.
Willingness to learn, accept supervision, and participate in ongoing training and professional development.
