Job Overview
We are looking for a Research Analyst R&D to conduct in-depth research across financial markets, companies, sectors, industries, and emerging financial trends.
The role will involve identifying research opportunities, analysing data, validating information, and converting complex financial information into clear and actionable insights for content and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct research on companies, stocks, sectors, industries, and financial markets.
Analyse financial statements, company performance, business models, and industry trends.
Collect, verify, and organise data from reliable sources.
Identify new topics, trends, and research opportunities relevant to finance audiences.
Prepare research reports, summaries, presentations, and data-backed insights.
Support the content team with accurate and well-researched information.
Track market developments, corporate announcements, economic events, and industry updates.
Cross-check facts, numbers, and sources before research is published or used in content.
Develop new research frameworks, methodologies, and ideas as part of R&D.
Work with content, social media, and creative teams to convert research into engaging financial content.
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in financial research, equity research, investment research, financial analysis, or a related field.
Strong understanding of stock markets and financial markets.
Ability to analyse company financials and business models.
Strong research, analytical, and fact-checking skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to simplify complex financial concepts into clear insights.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working with large amounts of data and multiple research sources.
Good to Have
Experience in finance, fintech, BFSI, investment research, or financial media.
Knowledge of financial databases and research platforms.
Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets and financial modelling.
CFA, NISM, MBA Finance, or relevant financial certifications.
Experience supporting finance/YouTube content teams.
