Role Description The Project Engineer will manage and execute engineering projects within the fertilizer plant, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to safety and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include project planning, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, preparing technical documentation, and monitoring progress against milestones. The role involves reviewing engineering designs, supporting installation and commissioning activities, and troubleshooting technical issues related to plant equipment and electrical systems. The Project Engineer will also track project risks, support compliance with regulatory and company guidelines, and report status updates to project management and leadership. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Shahjahanpur, with primary on-site responsibilities and some flexibility for work from home as project needs allow.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills for managing plant-related projects and technical systems.
Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills to handle timelines, resources, budgets, and risk management.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or process plant environments; fertilizer, chemical, or related sector experience is an advantage.
Working knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and quality management in engineering projects.
Proficiency with project management tools, engineering documentation, and basic CAD or technical drawing review.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to plant operations in a hybrid on-site and remote setup.
