Company Description Make My House (MMH) is a multidisciplinary team of architects, civil engineers, interior designers, and software professionals who are passionate about turning home design ideas into reality. The company offers a large, easily browsable collection of house plans and elevations that can be converted into complete drawing sets for construction. Clients can use MMH drawings to work directly with contractors or alongside their own architects and engineers, creating multiple design options for their dream home. MMH also provides fully customized house plans at a fraction of traditional costs, helping people plan more wisely for one of the most significant projects in their lives.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Indore. The Architect will design residential house plans and elevations, develop detailed architectural drawings, and ensure designs are practical, safe, and aligned with client requirements. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients and internal teams to understand needs, translating concepts into scalable design solutions, and coordinating with engineers, designers, and software teams to ensure seamless integration of plans into MMH’s digital platforms. The role involves reviewing and refining existing plan collections, preparing documentation for contractors, and supporting customized design projects from initial concept through completion. The Architect will also contribute to design standards, best practices, and quality control for all deliverables.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to create functional, aesthetically pleasing residential plans.
Experience in Project Management, including coordinating timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication for design and construction-related projects.
Familiarity with Software Development and Integration concepts to collaborate effectively with technical teams on design tools and digital workflows.
Proficiency in CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and other relevant design tools.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture or a closely related field; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
Knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices, particularly for residential projects.
Strong analytical, visualization, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Indore and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and clients.
