Role Description The Senior Video Editor role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. In this role, the team member will edit and assemble video content for children’s books, e-learning modules, 2D animations, promotional campaigns, and other multimedia projects. Responsibilities include organizing raw footage, refining sequences, applying color grading, adding sound effects and music, and integrating motion graphics and titles to produce engaging, polished videos. The Senior Video Editor will collaborate closely with writers, illustrators, animators, designers, and audio engineers to ensure consistent visual style and adherence to brand and project guidelines. The role also involves mentoring junior editors, contributing to creative concepts, and optimizing workflows to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing to plan, structure, and assemble high-quality video content.
Proficiency in Video Color Grading to achieve consistent visual tone and enhance overall image quality.
Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, lower thirds, visual elements, and educational content.
Expertise with professional editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
Demonstrated experience in editing educational, animation, or children-focused content is highly beneficial.
Strong storytelling sense, attention to detail, and ability to interpret creative briefs and brand guidelines.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and guide junior team members.
Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Animation, Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
