Role Description This full-time Automation Engineer role is based on-site in Ahmedabad. The Automation Engineer will design, implement, and maintain automated systems and process control solutions for manufacturing or industrial environments. Daily responsibilities include programming and configuring automation equipment, monitoring system performance, diagnosing faults, and optimizing workflows to improve reliability, efficiency, and safety. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing technical documentation, and supporting installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The engineer will also assist with preventive maintenance planning and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Automation and Process Control to design, configure, and optimize industrial systems.
Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering knowledge to work with control panels, wiring, and power systems safely and effectively.
Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills to diagnose system faults, identify root causes, and implement timely corrective actions.
Candidates should possess familiarity with Robotics to integrate, program, and maintain robotic equipment where applicable.
Relevant bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
Experience with PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, and industrial communication protocols is highly beneficial.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to safety and quality standards.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
Prior experience in industrial automation or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
