Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Food and Beverage Server role based in Mumbai. The Food and Beverage Server will welcome guests, present menus, provide detailed information on food and beverage offerings, and take accurate orders while ensuring a refined and hospitable dining experience. The role includes serving food and beverages, setting up and clearing tables, coordinating with kitchen and bar teams, and following established service standards and hygiene protocols. The Food and Beverage Server will handle guest queries and concerns, process billing and payments, and support special events or banquets as required. The position requires adherence to IHCL brand standards, a focus on guest satisfaction, and effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Food Service skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality guest experiences.
Candidates should demonstrate effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
Candidates should have foundational knowledge of Food & Beverage, including menu items, dietary considerations, and basic pairing recommendations.
Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or banquet service is preferred, especially in premium or luxury hospitality environments.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to stand or walk for extended periods.
Knowledge of basic POS and billing systems, and adherence to hygiene, safety, and grooming standards.
A hospitality-related diploma or certification is an advantage; fluency in English and local languages is beneficial.
