Electrical Project Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Project Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The Electrical Project Engineer will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and implementing electrical systems for new and existing DMart stores and facilities. Daily tasks include preparing electrical layouts, coordinating power distribution requirements, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory norms. The role involves working closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to manage site execution, resolve technical issues, and support timely project delivery. The engineer will also monitor system performance, recommend improvements, and maintain documentation for all electrical projects.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and a solid understanding of Electricity fundamentals.
Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design, including preparation and review of electrical drawings and layouts.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Power Systems, including load calculations and system performance analysis.
Candidates should possess experience with Power Distribution, including LT/HT distribution, panels, and protective devices.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Experience in commercial or retail infrastructure projects is an advantage.
Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
Ability to work on-site, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects within timelines.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication.
