Role Description The Sr. Dot Net Developer – is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. The role involves designing, developing .NET-based applications that support insurance operations and information services. The developer will work closely with business analysts and other technical team members to translate requirements into robust, scalable solutions, primarily using .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, implementing Object-Oriented Programming principles, performing code reviews, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, optimizing application performance, and ensuring adherence to secure coding and industry best practices. The role also includes collaborating on system integrations, participating in deployment activities, and providing technical support and guidance to junior developers when needed.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills, with a focus on building scalable enterprise applications.
Candidates should possess solid Software Development experience, including the full SDLC (design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance).
Candidates should possess hands-on expertise in .NET Core for developing modern, high-performance backend services and APIs.
Candidates should possess practical experience with ASP.NET MVC for creating secure, responsive web applications and user interfaces.
Candidates should possess familiarity with relational databases (such as SQL Server), including query optimization and schema design.
Candidates should possess knowledge of insurance domain concepts (policies, claims, underwriting, and billing) or a strong willingness to learn.
Candidates should possess effective problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and have experience in an enterprise or financial services environment.
