Role Description The Loading Supervisor role is a full-time, on-site position based at the Hyderabad facility. The Loading Supervisor will oversee daily loading and unloading operations, ensuring that materials and finished goods are handled safely, accurately, and in accordance with company procedures. Responsibilities include planning loading schedules, allocating workforce and equipment, coordinating with production, warehouse, and logistics teams, and verifying documentation such as dispatch notes and shipment records. The role involves monitoring packaging integrity, performing quantity checks, maintaining housekeeping and safety standards in loading areas, and reporting any discrepancies or damages. The Loading Supervisor will also support continuous improvement initiatives, train team members on safety and operational guidelines, and ensure timely dispatch of shipments.
Qualifications
Experience in supervising loading, unloading, and material handling operations in manufacturing or packaging environments.
Knowledge of inventory control, dispatch processes, and basic documentation for logistics and warehousing.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to plan shifts, prioritize tasks, and meet dispatch deadlines.
Attention to safety and quality, including adherence to standard operating procedures and workplace safety regulations.
Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with production, warehouse, logistics, and external transport partners.
Ability to lead and guide loading staff, provide training, and resolve operational issues calmly and fairly.
Basic computer literacy for updating records, using ERP or warehouse management systems (WMS), and reporting to management.
Previous experience in the flexible packaging or related manufacturing sector is preferred.
Minimum of a high school diploma; a technical or logistics-related qualification is an advantage.
Willingness to work on-site in Hyderabad and to follow company policies regarding safety, quality, and compliance.
