Director, Membership Growth & Engagement

This senior leadership role owns the strategy and performance of professional membership across the full member lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through engagement, renewal, and retention.
You will translate member insights, market trends, and analytics into measurable growth strategies and compelling membership value propositions.
The role combines strategic planning, lifecycle marketing, data analysis, technology enablement, and cross-functional collaboration.
You will lead a two-person membership team while partnering closely with marketing, education, advocacy, events, field teams, and other stakeholders.
Success will be measured through membership growth, retention, engagement, and dues revenue, supported by clear KPIs and disciplined execution.
The position offers an opportunity to modernize membership programs, develop new growth channels, and strengthen professional engagement within a mission-driven healthcare environment.
The role is remote, with travel of up to 10% for major meetings and selected professional conferences.
