Head of Fraud Operations (Banking)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Fraud Operations (Banking) based in Canada.
This senior leadership role is responsible for building and scaling the operational function that protects customers and the organization from sophisticated financial fraud. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of approximately 60 professionals across banking, investments and crypto, and identity and onboarding operations. The role combines frontline investigation excellence with strategic operational leadership, using data, automation, and AI to improve fraud detection and resolution. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to introduce effective safeguards while maintaining a smooth customer experience. The position offers significant ownership over performance, capacity planning, quality, and operational transformation. It is an opportunity to shape fraud operations within a fast-moving, technology-driven financial services environment.
