About the Role
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with good knowledge of SolidWorks to join our engineering team. The candidate will be involved in mechanical design, 2D drafting, 3D modelling, machinery layouts, fabrication drawings, and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
Prepare accurate 2D manufacturing and fabrication drawings.
Prepare technical documentation, BOMs, and related engineering documents.
Understand & apply basic principles of mechanical design, materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
Coordinate design requirements with fabrication/manufacturing activities.
Required Skills
Good working knowledge of SolidWorks – 2D drafting & 3D modelling, GD&T.
Ability to understand and prepare machinery and fabrication drawings.
Basic understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
Knowledge of engineering materials, dimensions, tolerances, and mechanical design principles.
Good technical and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
