Role Description The Civil In-Charge is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Hyderabad Area, responsible for overseeing civil construction and maintenance activities within the company’s facilities. The role includes supervising site work, coordinating with contractors and vendors, monitoring project progress, and ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. The Civil In-Charge will manage resource allocation, review drawings and estimates, track timelines and budgets, and ensure quality control in all civil works. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve resolving on-site issues, preparing reports and documentation, collaborating with engineering, maintenance, and EHS teams, and supporting continuous improvements in infrastructure and facility layout.
Qualifications
Strong civil engineering knowledge, including building construction, industrial infrastructure, and understanding of structural, architectural, and utility layouts.
Experience in site supervision and project coordination, including contractor management, work scheduling, and progress monitoring.
Familiarity with quality and safety standards, including compliance with local building codes, pharma facility requirements, and EHS practices.
Proficiency in basic civil design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar), and ability to interpret technical drawings and BOQs.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate across engineering, production, and management teams.
Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and accountability for deadlines and deliverables.
Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field; prior experience in industrial or pharmaceutical facility projects is preferred.
Willingness to work on-site in the Greater Hyderabad Area and manage multiple civil projects or maintenance tasks simultaneously.
