Role Description The Project Manager – Data Center is a full-time hybrid role based in the Pune Division, with a mix of on-site responsibilities and some work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end data center projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with internal teams, vendors, and clients. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing procurement and expediting of materials and equipment, tracking logistics, monitoring inspections, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety standards, and resolving project issues. The Project Manager will prepare status reports, maintain project documentation, manage risk and change requests, and ensure timely delivery within budget. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, construction, and quality teams to meet performance milestones and client expectations.
Qualifications
Strong project management skills, including Project Management and experience leading complex data center or similar infrastructure projects.
Expediting and Expeditor experience, with the ability to track and follow up on materials, equipment, and vendor deliverables.
Inspection skills and familiarity with quality standards, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
Logistics Management capabilities to coordinate movement, storage, and delivery of project materials and equipment.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) or a related technical field; relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are an advantage.
Experience in EPC/MEP environments, preferably in data center or industrial projects, with strong understanding of safety and compliance norms.
Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office, with solid analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and work in a hybrid setup.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
