Purchasing Executive

We are looking for a Purchase & Vendor Development Executive to manage procurement activities, develop new suppliers, negotiate commercial terms and ensure timely availability of materials as per company requirements.
The ideal candidate should have experience in vendor development, supplier sourcing, quotation comparison, purchase order management, price negotiation and supplier coordination. Candidates with experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment will be preferred.
Key responsibilities :
Manage day-to-day purchase and procurement activities.
Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors.
Source materials, components, consumables, and services.
Obtain quotations and prepare comparative statements.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms.
Issue and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs).
Ensure timely availability of materials as per production requirements.
Develop alternate suppliers for critical and regular items.
Monitor supplier performance on Quality, Cost & Delivery.
Resolve supplier-related delivery and quality issues.
Identify cost-reduction and alternate sourcing opportunities.
Maintain vendor records, quotations, purchase documentation, and approved vendor lists
Education :
BE/B.Tech/Diploma - Mechanical or Electronics
Experience:
Must have 2 to 4 yrs of experience in the relevant field.
