Stack: Shopify Liquid, JavaScript, CSS, Intelligems, GA4, Figma (reading specs)

🧴 The Role
We need a developer who thinks in conversion and product quality, not just in code. You'll be the execution engine behind A/B tests, new feature builds, landing pages, checkout improvements, and ongoing storefront development across four DTC skincare brands on Shopify. Some weeks you're implementing a test variant. Other weeks you're building a new collection page template, refactoring a cart drawer, or shipping a custom section from scratch. You'll work from tight scopes, but we expect you to challenge them when something doesn't make sense. You're not here to take tickets. You're here to build things that perform.
🔧 What You Own
- Front-end implementation of CRO experiments (A/B/n tests via Intelligems) and production feature builds
- Pixel-perfect execution from Figma designs across mobile-first Shopify themes
- New section development, template builds, and storefront architecture improvements
- Checkout customizations, cart drawer logic, and dynamic UI components
- Clean, performant Liquid + JS — no bloat, no shortcuts
- QA collaboration: you ship it clean, you own the bugs
- Proactive flagging of technical debt, performance risks, or scope gaps
🔍 Who We're Looking For
- 4+ years building production Shopify storefronts (not just installing apps)
- Deep fluency in Liquid, vanilla JS, and CSS — you don't need jQuery as a crutch
- Has worked with A/B testing tools (Intelligems, Convert, VWO, or similar)
- Comfortable building net-new features, not just modifying existing ones
- Reads a Figma file and knows what to build without 15 follow-up questions
- Thinks about page speed, CLS, and LCP before being asked
- Communicates clearly and proactively — blockers surface the same day, not next week

- Mobile-first mindset — our traffic is 90%+ mobile
- Proven ability to work async with structured scopes and tight deadlines
- English proficiency for written communication
