Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Virar. The Accountant will manage daily bookkeeping activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with monthly and annual financial closing. The role also involves preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting activities, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, and coordinating with auditors and internal teams. The Accountant will work closely with management to provide accurate financial data that supports decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.
Ability to handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and invoice processing.
Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
Experience in a similar accounting or finance role, preferably in a corporate or service-oriented environment.
Ability to work on-site in Virar, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
