About the Role
GH Strategies is seeking a Pharmacovigilance Associate based in Nigeria to support local pharmacovigilance activities as part of our expanding PV network.
The successful candidate will act as the local pharmacovigilance responsible person / Local QPPV representative for Nigeria, providing an in-country point of contact for pharmacovigilance matters and supporting interaction with the relevant health authorities.
This is primarily a local representation, regulatory intelligence and inspection-readiness role.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the designated local pharmacovigilance representative for Nigeria.
Serve as the local point of contact for pharmacovigilance matters.
Support interactions and correspondence with relevant health authorities.
Monitor local pharmacovigilance regulations, guidance and safety-related regulatory developments.
Provide local regulatory intelligence to the central PV team.
Support pharmacovigilance inspection readiness.
Participate in health authority inspections or PV-related meetings where required.
Maintain appropriate local PV documentation and records.
Escalate relevant safety information, authority requests and regulatory developments to the central PV team.
Participate in relevant PV training and project meetings.
Support maintenance of ongoing local pharmacovigilance compliance.
Minimum Requirements:
Currently resident in Nigeria.
Qualification in Pharmacy, Medicine or another relevant healthcare/life-sciences discipline.
Previous experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety or a closely related regulatory function.
Understanding of local pharmacovigilance requirements and health authority expectations in Nigeria.
Ability to interact professionally with regulatory authorities and international PV teams.
Strong organisational and documentation skills.
