Hoola Health (formerly BabyMD) is a pediatric clinic chain in Bangalore offering paediatric consultations, vaccinations, developmental therapies, and dental care across multiple clinic locations, alongside a growing content platform and online store for child health and development products.
As we scale, organic search and AI-driven discovery are becoming increasingly important in how parents find and trust us. We are looking for an SEO Executive to take ownership of this function end to end.
The Role
We’re hiring an SEO Executive to take full ownership of our organic search strategy across on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, while also building our visibility across the emerging layer of AI-driven search, including Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other answer engines.
This is a high-ownership role. You’ll be expected to research independently, form a clear point of view on what to prioritize, and drive execution rather than wait for a roadmap to be handed to you.
You’ll report to the Head of Marketing and work closely with our content and technical teams to turn SEO insights into shipped fixes and published content.
What You’ll OwnOn-Page & Technical SEO
Audit and continuously improve title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, and site structure across service pages, clinic-location pages, and blogs.
Run and act on technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexability, Core Web Vitals, structured data/schema, broken links, redirects, and other technical factors.
Work directly with developers to ensure identified SEO fixes are implemented and shipped.
Own keyword research and mapping, translating search demand into content and page-level recommendations.
Off-Page & Local SEO
Build and execute a link-building and digital PR strategy suited to a healthcare brand.
Own local SEO across all clinic locations, including Google Business Profile optimization, local citations, and location-page strategy.
Improve visibility for “near me” and locality-based searches.
Track and improve our presence in local map-pack and local search results, not just traditional organic rankings.
AI & Answer Engine Visibility (GEO/AEO)
Build and continuously iterate on a strategy for improving visibility across AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and similar answer engines.
Research and experiment with emerging approaches to AI-driven search visibility and answer engine optimization.
Structure content using FAQs, schema, clear factual answers, and other relevant formats to increase the likelihood of being surfaced or cited in AI-generated answers.
Stay up to date with how AI search is evolving and identify new opportunities for Hoola Health.
Research, Strategy & Reporting
Independently research competitors, market trends, search demand, and keyword opportunities using tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
Maintain and report on a prioritized SEO action plan covering on-page, technical, local, and off-page initiatives.
Evaluate initiatives based on rationale, expected impact, effort, and ownership through completion.
Track rankings, organic traffic, and conversion impact.
Translate SEO data and insights into clear, actionable updates for non-SEO stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience covering on-page, off-page, technical, and local SEO.
Demonstrated experience delivering measurable SEO results.
Strong independent research skills with the ability to use Search Console, GA4, competitor websites, and keyword research tools to find opportunities.
Strong sense of ownership and the ability to turn broad business goals into concrete, prioritized SEO initiatives.
Working proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and at least one keyword/competitive research platform such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
Familiarity with technical SEO auditing tools such as Screaming Frog or equivalent.
Ability to interpret crawl reports and convert findings into a prioritized list of fixes.
Curiosity about AI-driven search and answer engines, with a genuine interest in developing expertise in this evolving space.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to explain SEO recommendations clearly to non-technical stakeholders and create clear content briefs.
Nice to Have
Experience in healthcare, D2C, or multi-location/local-business SEO.
Experience writing or editing content, or working closely with content writers.
Google Analytics and/or Google Ads certifications.
Experience implementing structured data and Schema.org.
