DwarfEye Labs is expanding its AI/ML team and looking for a hands-on AI/ML Engineer with strong expertise in Computer Vision and Video Analytics to build, optimize, deploy, and continuously improve our AI models.
This is an opportunity to work on real-world video intelligence solutions that transform existing CCTV camera feeds into actionable business intelligence.

Role: AI/ML Engineer – Computer Vision & Video Intelligence
What You'll Do
✳️ Build Computer Vision Models – Design, develop, train, evaluate, and optimize AI/ML models for real-world video intelligence use cases.
✳️ Develop Video Analytics Solutions – Work on applications involving people detection, tracking, behavior analysis, footfall, queues, theft detection, staff analytics, safety, compliance, and other business intelligence use cases.
✳️ Model Training & Optimization – Work with datasets, annotation, augmentation, training, validation, performance evaluation, retraining, and model optimization.
✳️ Production & Edge Deployment – Convert trained models into reliable real-time inference pipelines and optimize them for edge computing and resource-constrained environments.
✳️ Improve Existing AI Solutions – Analyze model performance in real-world environments and continuously improve accuracy, stability, inference performance, and scalability.
✳️ Team Coordination & Mentoring – Guide and support AI/ML team members, review their work, help solve technical challenges, and contribute to effective execution of AI projects.
✳️ R&D and Innovation – Explore new Computer Vision techniques, architectures, tools, and approaches that can strengthen DwarfEye's AI capabilities.
✳️ Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with the development and product teams to convert business requirements into practical AI-powered solutions.
What We're Looking For
💠 2–3 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, preferably with strong exposure to Computer Vision and Video Analytics.
💠 Strong practical experience with Python, OpenCV, PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
💠 Experience with YOLO or similar object detection frameworks, object tracking, image/video processing, and model training.
💠 Good understanding of deep learning, computer vision concepts, model evaluation, and optimization.
💠 Experience working with real-world datasets, annotation, training, validation, and model improvement.
💠 Understanding of real-time inference and edge AI deployment will be an advantage.
💠 Ability to take ownership of AI modules from development through deployment and improvement.
💠 Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to work on challenging real-world Computer Vision problems.
💠 Ability to guide, coordinate, and mentor a small AI/ML team.
💠 Most importantly, someone who is hands-on, curious, responsible, and passionate about building AI that actually works in the real world.
