Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Presales and Application Engineer based in Mumbai. The role involves engaging with prospective and existing hospital clients to understand their clinical and infrastructure requirements, preparing technical proposals, and delivering product demonstrations for operating room, surgical, and sterilization solutions. The Presales and Application Engineer collaborates with the sales team to design solution configurations, support tenders, and provide technical clarifications during the sales cycle. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating for Demonstration of Equipment, presales planning and designing, installation requirements with engineering teams, conducting functional testing of equipment, training users on product operation, and offering application support to ensure optimal performance. The role also includes documenting customer feedback, assisting with product evaluations, and contributing to continuous improvement of solutions and presales materials.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Technical Support skills, including troubleshooting, customer interaction, and after-sales application support.
Candidates should possess Electrical / Mechanical Engineering skills for understanding and supporting electrical systems and interfaces in hospital equipment.
Candidate should have working on Autocad drawing.
Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to clinical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work on-site in hospital environments, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with sales and engineering teams.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Biomedical, Mechanical, or related field) or an equivalent technical qualification.
Experience in medical devices, hospital infrastructure, or healthcare technology is an advantage.
