Fashion Designer – Kidswear
Job Description
We are looking for a creative and experienced Fashion Designer to join our kidswear brand, specializing in girls’ party wear dresses and gowns.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design new and creative collections for girls’ kidswear and occasion wear.
* Develop design concepts, sketches, and mood boards based on current fashion trends.
* Select suitable fabrics, colours, trims, embellishments, and accessories.
* Create and modify designs according to age groups, fit, and market requirements.
* Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are practical and production-ready.
* Coordinate on samples, fittings, finishing, and design modifications.
* Research current kidswear and fashion trends for new collection development.
* Assist in developing seasonal and festive collections.
* Coordinate with fabric and material suppliers when required.
Requirements:
* Degree/Diploma in Fashion Designing or a related field.
* Previous experience in kidswear/fashion designing preferred.
* Good knowledge of fabrics, colours, embellishments, and garment construction.
* Strong creativity and attention to detail.
* Ability to create fashion sketches and communicate design ideas clearly.
* Knowledge of current fashion and kidswear trends.
* Good coordination and teamwork skills.
Experience: 2+ years preferred
