Senior Software Engineer

About You
As a Senior Software Developer in one of our product development teams, you will be part of a small and self-organising team responsible for maintaining and enhancing components of the Unleashed product.
Day to day
You will work on a backlog prioritised by our Product Owners and influenced by Technical & Principal Lead planning input.
You’ll be expected to interpret requirements, design, develop, validate & release your work within our adaptive agile culture – in co-operation with scrum, Kanban, TDD & XP – using the correct methodology to archive and maintain the results required
Collaborate with Product on functional requirements and work with DevOps to ensure the quality of deliverables.
You will encourage innovation & creative problem solving, challenging the status quo, yet be totally committed to adding value to the business & our customers.
We now test and deploy automatically & release updates at least twice a week.
As we continue our evolution, we aim to release product updates multiple times a day & become 100% AWS native which includes moving to a scalable microservices architecture).
Your Skills and Experience
5+ years hands on experience, with strong C# .Net skills and the proven ability to product smart, simple & high-performance code.
Experience in design & technical aspects of product development projects
Experience working with document design, CouchDB, ElasticSearch or equivalent.
Data warehousing, BI & ETL development
Knowledge of SaaS technology using .Net Core, React & Angular
Exposure to the latest cloud technologies, contemporary front end or mobile development frameworks & development tools used in continuous integration, source code management & test automation
Success in an agile development & an understanding of development frameworks such as XP, TDD, Kanban or scrum
