Role Description: The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions that support Hexamatics Tech’s clients and internal platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading front-end and back-end development tasks, writing clean and efficient code, reviewing code from peers, and ensuring software quality through testing and optimization. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, architect scalable systems, and implement best practices in security, performance, and maintainability. The Senior Software Engineer will mentor junior engineers, contribute to technical decision-making, and help improve development processes and tooling. This is a full-time, remote role.
Qualifications:
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
Hands-on experience in Software Development and Front-End(Angular) Back-End(Java-Springboot) Web Development using modern frameworks and tools.
Advanced Programming skills with proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and patterns.
Experience with Java, Spring boot, Angular, databases, APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures for complex systems.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), automated testing, and code review practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience in a senior or lead engineering role, including mentoring and technical leadership, is highly beneficial.
