Surveillance Officer

Role Description The Surveillance Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gandhinagar. The Surveillance Officer will monitor mining operations, facilities, and security systems to ensure safety, compliance, and protection of company assets. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing live and recorded surveillance footage, identifying unusual activities or potential risks, and promptly reporting observations to relevant stakeholders. The role also involves preparing detailed incident and activity reports, coordinating with operational and security teams, and supporting investigations related to regulatory compliance and internal policies. The Surveillance Officer will help maintain a secure environment by following established procedures and contributing to continuous improvement of surveillance practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for monitoring activities, identifying patterns, and assessing potential risks.
Candidates should possess Supervisory Skills to oversee surveillance processes and coordinate with on-site teams when required.
Candidates should possess effective Communication and Report Writing skills to document findings clearly and share information with internal stakeholders.
Candidates should possess a basic understanding of Trading and operational processes to interpret surveillance data relevant to mining and commercial activities.
Relevant experience in security, surveillance, mining operations, or industrial environments is preferred.
Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control tools, and security monitoring software is beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Gandhinagar, follow safety protocols, and maintain confidentiality and integrity in all activities.
A diploma or degree in security management, criminology, mining, or a related field is an advantage.
