Role Description -
The Technical Lead role at WebOcto is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. The Technical Lead will oversee end-to-end technical delivery for web and digital projects, guiding the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable solutions. This role includes leading and mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and establishing best practices for development, testing, and deployment. The Technical Lead will collaborate closely with design, marketing, and project management teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure timely, high-quality releases. Day-to-day responsibilities also include troubleshooting complex technical issues, optimizing performance, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and technology stacks.
Qualifications-
Strong experience in leading software or web development projects, including architecture design, code review, and technical decision-making.
Proficiency in modern web technologies and frameworks (for example, JavaScript, front-end frameworks, back-end languages, databases, APIs).
Hands-on experience with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment practices in production environments.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business needs into technical solutions, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in mentoring and guiding team members, fostering a culture of quality, learning, and accountability.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills, with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience in digital agencies, product companies, or brand-focused technology environments is an advantage.
