Job Description
We are looking for a Design Engineer proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD to prepare engineering drawings and 3D models for casting and machining components.
Key Responsibilities
Create 3D models of components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
Prepare detailed 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Create manufacturing drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances, sections, and details.
Prepare and modify drawings as per requirements and design changes.
Convert existing 2D drawings into 3D models and vice versa.
Prepare drawings for casting, machining, patterns, and related components.
Maintain and update drawings and 3D models as required.
Ensure drawings are accurate, clear, and suitable for manufacturing.
Required Skills
Good proficiency in SolidWorks.
Good proficiency in AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of engineering drawing and drafting.
Knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, sections, and basic GD&T.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience in a foundry or machine shop environment will be an added advantage.
