We're Hiring: Automotive Concept & Industrial Designer at PRAD 4x4!
Do you love translating rough ideas into aggressive off-road vehicle concepts and 3D renders? PRAD 4x4 is expanding our design team in Bangalore. We are looking for a creative Automotive Concept & Industrial Designer who can take freehand/digital sketches, turn them into realistic 3D renders, and collaborate with our engineering team to convert them into production-ready CAD models.
Role: Automotive Concept & Industrial Designer
Location: On-site in Bangalore
What You'll Do:
• Concept Sketching: Create 2D digital sketches, styling options, and proportions over vehicle chassis scans and reference photos.
• 3D Modeling & Rendering: Build detailed 3D surface mesh models and generate photo-realistic renders for design sign-offs.
• CAD Alignment: Work closely with our mechanical design engineers to bridge the gap between 3D concept meshes and native SolidWorks sheet metal models.
• Prototyping: Participate in vehicle fitment trials and physical prototyping.
Key Qualifications:
• 2D Visualizing: Proficiency in digital sketching (Photoshop, Procreate, or Sketchbook).
• 3D Concept Tools: Skill in 3D surface modeling using Blender, Rhino, Autodesk Alias, or Substance 3D.
• Rendering: Experience with KeyShot, Blender Cycles, or Unreal Engine.
• CAD Awareness: Working knowledge or familiarity with SolidWorks or AutoCAD to support the transition to manufacturing.
• Passion or background in automotive design, concept car building, custom off-road vehicle construction, or prototype development.
