About the Role
PRAD 4x4 is expanding our engineering team in Bangalore! We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer to lead the engineering of off-road specific accessories, OEM projects, special vehicle builds, and sheet metal assemblies.
Responsibilities
Lead 3D modeling and complex assembly design using SolidWorks.
Prepare accurate 2D production drawings, sheet metal flat patterns, and fabrication specs using AutoCAD.
Collaborate directly with manufacturing teams, OEM clients, and special vehicle project stakeholders from concept to finished product.
Oversee vehicle fitment trials, physical prototyping, and technical design iterations on specialized vehicle platforms.
Provide guidance and technical leadership within the engineering team.
Key Qualifications
Proficiency: Advanced skills in SolidWorks (3D Part/Assembly Modeling, Sheet Metal) and AutoCAD (2D Drafting).
Experience Level: Practical experience with end-to-end product design, off-road equipment, OEM project execution, and technical leadership (3+ years experience).
Domain Focus: Proven background in automotive engineering, off-road hardware, special vehicle projects, or sheet metal component design.
Location: On-site in Bangalore.
