Role Description The Senior Financial Director is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the company’s financial strategy, planning, and reporting. This role oversees budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. The Senior Financial Director will manage the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements, monitor key performance indicators, and provide strategic insights to executive leadership. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding finance team members, improving financial processes and controls, supporting investor and board reporting, and partnering with cross-functional leaders on resource allocation and risk management. This role also contributes to long-term financial modeling, scenario analysis, and the design of metrics that support sustainable growth.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance, with experience in corporate finance and strategic financial leadership.
Expertise in Financial Planning and budgeting, including forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term financial modeling.
Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements, with a deep understanding of accounting principles and compliance standards.
Hands-on experience in Financial Reporting, including management reports, board packages, and regulatory reporting.
Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting data, evaluating trends, and providing actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring finance teams and collaborating with executive and cross-functional partners.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPA, CFA) is preferred.
Comfort with remote work, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
