As an Assistant Bar Manager, you are responsible for assisting in managing the assigned bar to achieve guest satisfaction and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the daily operations of the bar
Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of all areas of the bar
Ensure exceptional guest service and maintain high guest satisfaction levels
Supervise, train, and motivate bar team members to deliver excellent service
Be involved in the planning of promotions, beverage purchases, and pricing under the supervision of the Cluster Director of Food & Beverage
Supervise the daily operation under standards fixed by the Hotel Management and F&B Operations
Control beverage costs, inventory levels, and stock ordering
Monitor beverage quality, presentation, and compliance with brand standards
Ensure correct handling of equipment to minimize breakages and losses
Participate actively in the creation of new drinks and snacks, improve presentations to achieve the overall objectives, and propose variations to the Cluster Director of Food & Beverage
Ensure compliance with local regulations regarding alcohol service and health & safety requirements.
Experience:
Previous experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property required
Pre-opening experience is an advantage
Requirement:
Proven work experience as an Assistant Bar Manager
Active listening and effective communication skills
Flexibility to work in shifts
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
