Role Description The Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Goa, India, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at sustainable construction project locations. This role includes coordinating work schedules, supervising on-site teams and contractors, ensuring adherence to design specifications, and maintaining safety and quality standards. The Site Supervisor monitors material usage, tracks project progress against timelines, and reports site updates to project managers and design leads. The position also involves resolving site issues proactively, liaising with clients and local stakeholders when required, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and environmental guidelines.
Qualifications
Experience supervising construction sites, including coordination of workers, contractors, and daily operations.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety practices, ideally with exposure to sustainable or regenerative building approaches.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, and ensure work aligns with design specifications.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and local authorities.
Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple site activities.
Proficiency in basic project documentation, site reporting, and use of digital tools for scheduling and progress tracking.
Knowledge of local building regulations and standards applicable in Goa and India is an advantage.
Diploma or degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field preferred; relevant practical experience will be considered.
Demonstrated commitment to sustainability, environmental responsibility, and safe working practices on site.
