Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Civil Engineer located in the South Goa district. The Site Civil Engineer will oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring designs are implemented accurately, safely, and in line with sustainable practices. Responsibilities include coordinating with design and planning teams, supervising contractors, monitoring quality and progress, and resolving technical issues on site. The role also involves preparing and reviewing site reports, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and environmental guidelines. The engineer will collaborate closely with project stakeholders to align site execution with SPF’s regenerative design principles.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Civil Engineering Design and practical Civil Engineering application, with the ability to interpret and implement technical drawings on site.
Experience working as Civil Engineers in planning and execution of infrastructure or building projects, including site coordination and stakeholder communication.
Knowledge of Planning processes related to site layout, grading, and utilities, with attention to sustainable land use and resource efficiency.
Understanding of Stormwater Management principles and practices, particularly in tropical or coastal contexts, to support resilient site design.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Familiarity with relevant Indian building codes, standards, and local permitting processes.
Proficiency in basic civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar) and comfort with digital documentation tools.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently on site while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
