Role Description The Vice President of Technology Innovation is a full-time remote role responsible for shaping and executing CIH CAPITAL MANAGEMENT’s technology vision. This role leads the identification, evaluation, and deployment of innovative technologies that enhance investment research, portfolio management, risk analytics, and operational efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining IT strategy, overseeing key technology initiatives, and collaborating with senior leadership to align solutions with business objectives. The position manages cross-functional projects, coordinates internal and external technology resources, and ensures that platforms and tools meet security, compliance, and performance standards. The Vice President also monitors emerging trends, evaluates vendors and partners, and creates structured plans for testing, integrating, and scaling new technologies across the organization.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into technology and business recommendations.
Expertise in Information Technology and IT Strategy, with experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade solutions in a financial or related environment.
Proficiency in Project Management, including leading cross-functional teams, managing timelines and budgets, and delivering technology initiatives from concept to implementation.
Background in Strategic Planning, with proven ability to develop multi-year technology roadmaps and align innovation efforts with organizational goals.
Prior leadership experience in technology, innovation, or digital transformation, preferably within asset management, banking, fintech, or another regulated industry.
Knowledge of cloud platforms, data engineering, APIs, cybersecurity, and automation tools relevant to investment management workflows.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executive, investment, operations, and compliance teams in a remote setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CFA, cloud certifications) are beneficial.
