Role Description The Cafe Staff role is a full-time, on-site position based in Navi Mumbai. In this role, the team member prepares and serves food and beverages, maintains a clean and organized workspace, and ensures that food safety and hygiene standards are consistently followed. Daily tasks include greeting and assisting customers, taking orders, handling payments, and delivering prompt, courteous service. The role also involves restocking supplies, supporting opening and closing procedures, and coordinating with other staff to ensure smooth cafe operations.
Qualifications
Food preparation and food service skills to handle menu items and serve guests efficiently.
Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain hygiene and comply with health standards.
Customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and resolve concerns.
Experience or familiarity with food & beverage operations in a cafe or similar setting.
Ability to stand for extended periods and manage busy shifts in a fast-paced environment.
Basic numeracy skills for handling cash, payments, and simple inventory tasks.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with team members.
Prior experience in hospitality or retail is beneficial but not mandatory; training can be provided.
