About the Role
LIGHTBOX VENTURES LIMITED is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the company's global information security strategy and cybersecurity operations.
The CISO will be responsible for establishing and continuously strengthening the organization's cybersecurity strategy, risk management framework, security architecture, governance, incident response capabilities, and security culture.
This is a senior executive leadership position that will work closely with executive management and technology, legal, compliance, risk, and business teams to protect the company's information assets, technology infrastructure, applications, data, and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise-wide information security and cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives.
Establish and maintain a global information security governance, risk, and compliance program.
Lead cybersecurity operations, security engineering, security architecture, threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
Identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate information security and technology risks across the organization.
Develop and maintain security policies, standards, procedures, controls, and operating frameworks.
Oversee security monitoring, threat intelligence, detection and response capabilities, and security operations.
Establish and maintain comprehensive incident response, crisis management, business continuity, and disaster recovery programs.
Partner with technology leadership to integrate security into cloud infrastructure, applications, networks, endpoints, and enterprise systems.
Lead security assessments, penetration testing, vulnerability management, and remediation programs.
Develop third-party and vendor cybersecurity risk management processes.
Ensure appropriate protection of sensitive, confidential, and business-critical information.
Partner with legal, compliance, privacy, and risk teams on regulatory and contractual security requirements.
Lead cybersecurity awareness, education, and training programs across the organization.
Establish meaningful security metrics, KPIs, KRIs, and executive reporting mechanisms.
Manage cybersecurity budgets, technology investments, vendors, and strategic security partnerships.
Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies, threats, and industry trends and recommend appropriate investments.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global cybersecurity organization.
Provide executive leadership and guidance during significant security incidents and technology-related crises.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
12+ years of progressive experience in information security, cybersecurity, technology risk, or related fields.
Significant experience in senior cybersecurity leadership roles, preferably within complex or global organizations.
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategies.
Strong knowledge of security architecture, cloud security, network security, application security, endpoint security, identity and access management, and data protection.
Extensive experience with security risk management, governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Proven experience leading security incident response and cybersecurity crisis management.
Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS Controls, and related industry frameworks.
Experience managing cybersecurity teams, budgets, technology platforms, and external security partners.
Excellent executive communication, strategic planning, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to communicate complex cybersecurity risks and technical issues clearly to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
CISM, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or comparable professional certification.
Experience leading cybersecurity programs across multiple countries or regions.
Experience securing cloud-native and hybrid technology environments.
Experience with Zero Trust security architectures and modern identity security.
Experience with Security Operations Centers (SOC), SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence platforms.
Experience developing enterprise security programs in rapidly growing organizations.
Strong understanding of privacy, data protection, third-party risk, and technology governance.
Experience working directly with executive leadership, boards, or risk committees.
