As we expand our global footprint and elevate the tech infrastructure across our fund operations and portfolio ecosystem, we are seeking a visionary, high-caliber Global Technical Director to lead our strategic technology roadmap.
Role Overview
As the Global Technical Director, you will serve as the chief technical strategist and execution leader across our global ecosystem. This is a high-impact, hybrid role based in the United States, offering the flexibility of remote-first operations coupled with structured in-person collaboration.
You will bridge the gap between investment foresight and technical execution—architecting cutting-edge global IT infrastructures, defining AI and data strategies, and providing elite technical advisory to our fast-scaling portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Strategy & Architecture: Architect, scale, and secure a resilient global technical infrastructure that supports cross-border VC workflows, deal sourcing engines, and portfolio collaboration.
Portfolio Tech Advisory: Act as a trusted technical advisor to portfolio founders and CTOs; conduct technical due diligence, review software architectures, and guide them through rapid scaling challenges.
Innovation & Emerging Tech: Spearhead the integration of advanced data analytics, AI/ML tools, and automation into our proprietary investment and market analysis systems.
Global Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor distributed engineering, DevOps, and cybersecurity teams across multiple time zones, fostering a high-performance culture.
Vendor & Compliance Management: Evaluate and manage global enterprise vendor partnerships while ensuring absolute compliance with global data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a highly technical related field.
Experience: 10+ years of progressive tech experience, with at least 4+ years in a senior leadership role (Director, Head of Tech, or CTO) within high-growth tech or VC-backed ecosystems.
Architecture Mastery: Proven track record of designing and deploying secure, cloud-native (AWS/Azure/GCP) enterprise architectures globally.
Emerging Tech Fluency: Hands-on experience scaling data pipelines, AI/LLM integrations, and modern DevOps/CI-CD workflows.
Communication & Influence: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas to non-technical executive stakeholders and founders.
Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
