Senior Site Architect

Job Description:
Senior Site Architect to be deployed full-time on an under-construction Datacenter Campus in
Hyderabad. This is a site-based role: the candidate must already live in Hyderabad or be willing to
relocate there for the duration of the deployment. The role is the on-ground design representative and
coordinating daily with the Clients design and project team in Hyderabad while working closely with design teams in Chennai and Bangalore to keep site execution aligned with design intent. While the Hyderabad site deployment is the primary and default assignment, the incumbent may also be required, at the firm's discretion, to support other projects in the capacity of an Architectural Designer as project needs and business priorities evolve.
RESPONSIBILITIES
*Deployed full-time, on-site at under-construction Datacenter Campus project in Hyderabad,
acting as the firms on-ground design representative;
*Coordinating daily with the Clients design and project management team based in Hyderabad
on matters of design, technical co-ordination and building regulations;
* Liaising continuously with design teams in Chennai and Bangalore to relay site conditions,
drawing queries and design changes, and ensure design intent is carried through construction;
*Reviewing and checking Construction Documents, Good-for-Construction drawings, and
Consultants/Contractor's Shop Drawings for design compliance;
* Conducting regular site inspections and walkthroughs to monitor progress against drawings,
specifications and building regulations;
*Responding to RFIs and site queries raised by the contractor with timely architectural
clarifications, escalating design deviations or scope/fee implications to the Project Director;
*Coordinating on-site with structural, MEP and other consultants to ensure clash-free, integrated
execution of the building;
*Checking the quality of architectural finishes, materials and workmanship on-site against
approved specifications and mock-ups;
*Maintaining a site progress log/diary and preparing periodic design-and-coordination status
reports for the Project Director and Client;
* Ensuring quality, safety awareness and a high level of Client satisfaction through diligent day-to-
day site oversight;
*Architectural Degree is necessary. It is preferred that the degree is recognized by the Council of
Architecture, India.
*8 to 12 years of overall experience as an architect, with hands-on experience delivering
commercial building projects; direct experience on datacenter or other large-scale
technical/industrial facilities is a strong advantage.
