Wings on Fire is a D2C-focused digital marketing agency based in Noida. We help brands grow through Meta Ads, Google Ads, Shopify development, social media management and content marketing. Our creative team produces high-volume, performance-driven video content for multiple brands every month.
ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a skilled Video Editor who understands what makes people stop scrolling. You will edit both long-form and short-form videos for our clients. You'll also craft strong hooks, handle colour grading and sound design, and work closely with the creative team from storyboard to final export, including helping on shoots.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Edit long-form videos (YouTube, brand films, podcasts) and short-form content (Reels, Shorts, ad creatives) for multiple client brands.
Build strong hooks in the first 2–3 seconds to maximise watch time and ad performance.
Colour grade footage to deliver a consistent, polished look that matches each brand's identity.
Select and sync music, sound effects and transitions that match the pace and emotion of the video.
Create and follow storyboards to plan edits before production begins.
Assist the creative team during video recording and shoots, including framing, lighting, audio setup and shot planning.
Add motion text, captions, subtitles and basic graphics where required.
Handle multiple projects at once and deliver within agency timelines.
Stay updated on trending formats, audio and editing styles across Instagram, YouTube and other platforms.
Maintain organised project files, raw footage and final exports for every client.
REQUIREMENTS (MUST-HAVE)
Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of professional video editing experience.
Agency background: Must have worked in a digital marketing, creative or content agency.
Tools: Strong command of professional editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.
Colour grading: Hands-on colour grading and colour correction skills.
Sound design: Good ear for music selection, sound effects and audio balancing.
Storyboarding: Ability to plan edits and shoots through storyboards.
Formats: Proven experience editing both long-form and short-form videos.
Hooks & storytelling: Clear understanding of hooks, pacing and retention for social media and ads.
Portfolio: A portfolio or showreel is mandatory.
GOOD TO HAVE
Experience editing performance ad creatives (UGC-style ads, product videos) for D2C brands.
Basic motion graphics and animation skills.
Comfort with camera handling and basic shoot equipment.
